About the Publisher The Cordillera Studies Center (CSC) is the research arm of the University of the Philippines Baguio. Created by virtue of the Board of Regents’ approval on 26 June 1980, the CSC primarily serves the geographic area of Northern Luzon, with special stress on the Cordillera Administrative Region. The CSC undertakes research programs and projects that are disciplinal, interdisciplinary and inter-divisional, in accordance with the thrusts of the University, for academic leadership in teaching, research and extension.
